FRC is the world's largest international robotics competition for high school students. Held since 1998, this competition introduces a new theme each year, challenging teams to design and build a robot within a short six-week period based on the given theme.
At its core, FRC aims to foster interest in science and technology while enhancing teamwork and problem-solving skills. Beyond being just a robotics competition, FRC provides students with valuable experience in leadership, communication, time management, and project management.
FRC is organized in Turkey by the Fikret Yüksel Foundation. Every year, regional tournaments are held in different cities across Turkiye. Teams that achieve high rankings in these tournaments qualify to participate in the world championship held in the United States.
